SNOW, ICE, & OTHER SCARY STUFF...
The guiding standard for our inclimate weather policy at both New Hope Church & Preschool is SAFETY!
It is not a truancy violation to miss a day's preschool, no consequences for tardy arrival, and God understands staying at home if getting to church safely is not possible. (...that does not include moderate rain or the weather-related "Ooooo, what a good day to stay in bed..." HA!)
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET TO NEW HOPE IF THE ROADS ARE UNSAFE!
The Preschool will be closed if DeKalb County Public Schools are closed. Their decision will be reported on all major news outlets (e.g. http://www.11alive.com ) and on the homepage of their website http://www.dekalb.k12.ga.us/ .
If DeKalb postpones school start times 1 or 2 hours, that is a clear sign that early morning travel may be unsafe. In this case it is best to wait for direct communication from the Preschool before making the trip. Watch this website, the Activit-e website, email, and/or contact the school after 9:00am to be certain the school will be open that day.

New Hope Church Sunday Worship Service Join us for worship Sundays at 10:30am! There's nothing we do more important than gathering together for worship!
God created us to live in relationships with one another, and the church represents that spirit. We do not worship alone, but in a community of neighbors and friends. It doesn't matter what you believe, or if you believe anything at all. If you're visiting this site, and looking for a new church home, or simply a connection with other friendly folks, then visit with us some Sunday.
Our worship service is structured and has traditional liturgical elements, but the atmosphere is relaxed. We use both traditional and contemporary music in our service, and the message is based on a particular biblical text with an emphasis on relevance for us today.
There's only one real way to find out more about us, and that's to visit our service!
We have a professionally-staffed Nursery for children through age 3, and our KidConnection begins during the service for kids through 6th Grade.
